Our students range in age and skill level so each of our surfing classes is catered to accordingly. Whether you have young kids, teenage kids, or adult kids with you, learning to surf together is a great bonding experience.
Where are Family Surf Lessons in Maui
Our surf lessons are in Kihei at Kalama Park. This is one of the best places to learn to surf on the island due to its gentle waves and semi-shallow water. If only part of your family wants to surf, the other family members can watch and cheer you on from shore. Our surf location has bathrooms, picnic tables, park benches, showers, a playground, and sports fields. Directly across the street are cafes, restaurants, and cute shops that sell fun Hawaiian trinkets and products by local artists.
When are Family Surf Lessons in Maui
Family surf lessons are available six days a week (Monday-Saturday) in the mornings. Lessons are 2 hours and all equipment is included (boards, reef shoes, rash guards).
What to Bring to Family Surf Lessons in Maui
In addition to wearing something to surf in, we also recommend bringing sunblock, a towel to dry off after surf lessons, and water to hydrate.
