Itinerary

Meet your instructor at Kalama Park in Kihei. We recommend arriving 10–15 minutes early to allow time for parking, check-in, sunscreen, and getting ready for your lesson.

Your instructor will review ocean awareness, surf etiquette, paddling techniques, board positioning, and proper pop-up technique before entering the water.

Head into the ocean with your instructor for hands-on coaching and support while practicing your new surfing skills.

Catch waves, build confidence, and enjoy the excitement of learning to surf alongside fellow participants.

Group lessons accommodate up to 12 participants, with a maximum of 6 students per instructor.
No. Group Surf Lessons are designed for beginners as well as guests with previous surfing experience.

Liability Waiver

All participants must complete a liability waiver before participating in surf lessons.

Weather Conditions

Surf lessons operate in a variety of weather conditions. If ocean conditions are unsuitable for instruction, we will work with you to reschedule whenever possible.

Health Requirements

Participants should be in good physical health. Please inform us of any medical conditions, injuries, or concerns before your lesson.

Cancellation Policy

We understand that plans can change. Cancellations made more than 24 hours before your lesson are eligible for a refund, less a $25 cancellation fee. Cancellations made within 24 hours of the lesson start time and no-shows are non-refundable. If Surf Yoga Maui must cancel a lesson due to unsafe ocean conditions or unforeseen circumstances, we will work with you to reschedule. If rescheduling is not possible, a full refund will be provided.
